Nathan and Jillian were recent married with an exceptionally nice ceremony at Brookside Church here in Grand Rapids. Afterward, they made there way downtown to a seldom used but FANTASTIC location at the Ledyard Building and Tre Cugini. Congratulations Nathan and Jillian!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph Ryan and Laura’s wedding. A few years ago I did Ryan’s sisters wedding and had a great time. It is always nice having a relationship going into the wedding. It was a fabulous time and Ryan and Laura and their families had a lot of nice touches. Both knew exactly what they wanted from their special day and it definitely worked-out perfectly. For a few OF MY FAVORITE IMAGES CLICK HERE!

Joy Holland: Ryand & Laura look as happy as they really are!!!!! David you are the best, thank you so much for capturing their happiness!!!!!
I had a recent opportunity to photograph one of the top wedding venues. Severance Hall is seriously one of the coolest places I have ever visited. Shooting with my friend and fabulous photographer Tom Forrest we had a superb time. Check-out a few of my favorite shots and let me know what you think.

With the photography heating-up I have so many images that I want to share with my viewers but have had little time to get them on here! Not a good excuse I KNOW. This post has 3 great family sessions that were recently completed. I have really been fortunate with great weather and awesome families.
I did Scott and Sue’s wedding a few years ago and now did the one year shoot for their TWINS! Check-out their slideshow HERE

Erin and Elissa along with their family. SLIDESHOW HERE!

With Matt and Lisa and family we headed out to the beach. Check-out their slideshow HERE. One of my favorite couples pictures below.

10 years ago I had the pleasure of being the best man at Jamie and Amy’s wedding. I was very happy when Jamie wanted me to do their anniversary shoot as a surprsie to Amy. We took a trip to downtown Saugatuck and then made our way for some nice evening images at Oval Beach. SLIDESHOW OF IMAGES ARE HERE! Also enjoy a few select favorites below.
Turned-out to be perfect weather
A stroll through downtown Saugatuck

Always nice to find a cool stairway

Great shot of “mostly” Amy

One of my favorites

Need to make it to Lake Michigan more often.

It was sprinkling in Grand Rapids when we left. Beautiful blue skies in Saugatuck.

Photo shoots should be like a walk on the beach in my book.

My favorite of the day.

Over the last few years I have shot several weddings with Tom Forrest; my friend and superbly talented photographer. We had a fabulous wedding and one that was amazing to photograph! Check-out a few of my favorite images and be sure to check-out more from Tom at his site too (when they are available).

Couple quick recent favorites. ENJOY!
