Staying busy with my uber talented friend Tom Forrest. We shot Brooke and Chris’s wedding as part one of a double weekend. Coincidentally, we were at the exact same venue the next night. Great couple and a great wedding.
I have been fortunate this year to be shooting a whole ton with my good friend and stellar photographer Tom Forrest. One of my favorite preparation shoots of all time at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland.
Nathan and Jillian were recent married with an exceptionally nice ceremony at Brookside Church here in Grand Rapids. Afterward, they made there way downtown to a seldom used but FANTASTIC location at the Ledyard Building and Tre Cugini. Congratulations Nathan and Jillian!

Eric and Tania were married in Cleveland, Ohio on a BEAUTIFUL spring day. This wedding had a mix of just about everything but what struck me most was some of the excellent music and dancing. Also, my first experience with a bride and groom up on a chair! I’ve really been loving these moodly light shots. Ryan and Laura wanted an elevator shot and I came-up with this.
David and Stefanie were recently married on the campus of Calvine College at the Seminary Chapel. The reception followed at the Prince Banquet Facility. I can’t imagine a finer day for a wedding or that David and Stefanie could have enjoyed their day more than they did! I got to know both of them during our enagement session last fall. Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph Ryan and Laura’s wedding. A few years ago I did Ryan’s sisters wedding and had a great time. It is always nice having a relationship going into the wedding. It was a fabulous time and Ryan and Laura and their families had a lot of nice touches.
