We are home from a great trip to New York City and also visiting family in the Poconos. For traveling with young children NYC was an EXCELLENT CHANDLER ADVENTURE!

The Chandlers had an excellent time during our annual trip to Florida. On the way we stopped at the Atlanta Aquarium. One of the highlights of the trip!

So it’s been awhile since I’ve posted too much here. Things are going very well though and I have been appreciating all of the calls and inquiries about upcoming photo shoots! 2009 is shaping up to be a great year already. That’s one thing that I love in particular about the wedding portion of my business. All of these wonderful brides getting their planning done early!!! As a business owner it’s great to be able to plan!
The holidays were absolutely amazing and we were fortunate that Angela managed 5 straight days off.

I need to post some more family stuff! I’ll be putting together a slideshow from a recent trip to Disney. Here’s a fun shot of Ellery in the meantime.
The 2nd annual Priority Health Cycling Classic was held in Grand Rapids a couple weekend ago. I showed-up with Dan Socie to capture the race. It’s great when you double-up on coverage because you get to cover a lot of really cool angles. If you know cycling photography then I think you would agree that we kicked it up a few notches. Drop me an e-mail if you like what you see. Thanks Dan for putting together the slideshow.

Multiple overtimes and a state championship on the line and the East Grand Rapids Pioneers came-out on top. That was last year and the highly touted rematch game was an amazing game but severely lopsided in favor of the Pioneers. I was at the game and was able to capture some of the games top plays. The image above for the yet another touchdown. Hopefully, I’ll be covering a lot more of the games this season. It’s pretty nice walking up the road to such amazing football. Check-out some of my favorite SHOT, HERE!

We’re back from some more great Chandler Adventures. We started the vacation with a trip to Lake Wallenpaupack to visit our relatives in the Poconos. It was a great time as always. We cruised on home afterward and stopped-off in Cleveland for two of the best $5.00 ice cream cones you will ever have. We used to live next door to it in Fairview Park, OH but I think we visit there more often now that we’re in Grand Rapids! The rest of the week was spent at home doing our thing and still trying to get our relatively new home organized.

We are loving the great weather and time to play and of course plenty of photo opportunities. One day the park, one day the library, and the next day the pool. Next up the busy summer weekend schedule! No wonder everyone says it goes by so quickly.

There has been a lot of talk lately about a lousy economy and a falling housing market but I’m pleased to say that we sold our home and purchased a new one without much trouble at all! We bought a home in East Grand Rapids and I am very excited to be walking distance to great schools and not to mention Reeds Lake and Gaslight Village. I’ll be looking forward to spending time with many of my client in the new house complete with a formal living room and office space for me! The last time we lived in the city it was in Cleveland and I was working for the Cleveland Indians; oh how the times have changed and all for the BETTER!
Quick plug for our amazing realtor Craig Kishman at www.craigkishman.com. To say that I recommend him is a huge understatement. I almost wish we were selling again so we could hire him again; ALMOST!
Things are going to be changing a little bit in our household within the next month! We’re ready and excited. For what you might ask? Amelia is going to be a big sister! I’ll have to post twice as many pics of my kids since I promise to take as many of our newest addition as I have of Amelia. Pretty tall order though. I posted some of my latest shot of Amelia HERE.
