Tickle Me Elmo Christmas

December 18, 2006

Elmo Christmas

This Christmas has been a lot of fun for us already.  We traveled to Florida for Thanksgiving and Amelia received her first Hokey Pokey Elmo Doll which as you can imagine does the hokey pokey complete with singing and dancing.  This past weekend we were in Caro, MI and Amelia received the heavily sought after Tickle Me Elmo Doll.  I hear this thing is going for a couple of hundred dollars on www.ebay.com  Her Grandma was able to use some connections and bought one for Amelia and I have to admit it’s pretty cool.  Christmas is still a week away and already this has been the most amazing Christmas ever.

On a side note.  I had a great time with my first Wedding Photography Shoot.  It was a lot of tough work but it was also amazing and rewarding in a lot of ways.  The Bride and Groom are out of town but once they return I’ll share a few of my favorite shots.

“First” Snow

First Snow

We recently had our first snow here in Michigan and we’re getting ready for a long winter. This year won’t be as long as last year though now that Amelia is old enough (17 months) to get outside and enjoy it. We were outside the other day and had a great time and were able to stay out as long as she would keep her mittens on. Lucky for me she is still a little unsure of the elements so she wants to be held most of the time.

It’s starting to feel like Christmas!

Nice Catch

The 2006 season for the Wayland High School Girls Basketball Team was full of action and tons of energy. I was amazed how the girls showed-up each game ready to play and while not every game went their way most of them did. As a photographer it is great to get the action shots but when you are following a team like the Wildcats it is even more interesting because of all the effort into each play.
