WOW what a trip. I logged over 4500 miles in 14 days and I loved every minute of it. I have to say that the highlight of my trip was the opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding! I created a slideshow with some of my favorites and you can find it here. The wedding took place in the Valley of Fire near Las Vegas. I am planning on posting a lot more shots from my amazing trip. Drop me an e-mail if you like what you see.

I made it 1,200 miles so far to Denver, Colorado and I am writing this from my the home of my cousin Ryan’s house. This has already been amazing trip and I had a ton of photo opportunities today especially. I really enjoyed driving through Nebraska and Colorado! Take a peak at my slideshow and let me know what you think. Click here. Tomorrow morning we leave for Vegas and we have about 750 miles to go.

I think my sister said it best. She’s a miracle.

It normally takes us until the start of the summer before our calendar starts fill-up but this year it’s a little earlier. I am the best man in my cousin’s wedding; he’s my cousin but he feels a lot more like a brother to me. Anyway, on March 15th I’m hosting a bachelor party for him in Las Vegas that will last about 3 days and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. The very next weekend my sister-in-law is getting married in Las Vegas too and it’s sure to be yet another amazing time. Las Vegas is about 1925 miles from Lowell, Michigan and instead of paying for two flights I have decided to drive and stay the entire time for a long but really cool road trip! My travels will take first to Omaha, Nebraska for my first rest stop and then onto Denver, Colorado to pick-up my cousin and check-out his new house. With a little luck we’ll taste a few brews from The New Belgium Brewing Company (yummy). In between parties I should have about 3 or 4 days by myself where I can explore the great west.

One of my goals of this trip is to treat it like a complete photographic adventure. I’ll post a slideshow of my adventures and interesting things I find along the way. It’s going to be a long ride but I’m sure I’ll enjoy every minute.

This will be the longest trip away from my daughter though. Let the boo-hooing begin.
