Christmas blessings and a Happy New Year from the Chandlers!

We have a new baby in the house!  Ellery Claire was born on December 10, 2007 @ 6:09 a.m.  Amelia is now the big sister and doing quite well with it.  It is really cool having number two and you definitely get enjoy her much quicker than with #1 vs. being freaked-out by having a new baby for the first couple of months!  Two girls = 2x as many photo opportunities!

I am covering the Wayland High School Girls Basketball Season again this year and got it all started on Thursday with a tough game against Byron Center. So far the season has been tough for the team but as you can see in this slideshow it’s certainly isn’t for a lack of effort from this athletic team. Check-out the slideshow HERE. I met Nic’s Mom while photographing my nephew’s football game (they were on the same team).  I shared some of the football pictures with her and she enjoyed them so much that she invited me over for a photo shoot.  It is very flattering to be invited to someones home or to cover a special event for them because it not only means that they appreciate your style and quality of work but they are also interested in spending time with you.  Just as important with a kid shoot as it is for a wedding.
