Time to post a few of the images I have been capturing for Coralie Miller and the Wayland High School Girls Basketball Team. They are always a team to watch and this year is no exception. They have talent at every position and are looking really good. Check-out a few of the most recent images by CLICKING HERE and for the home game against OTTAWA CLICK HERE. Comment below to let me know how you like them.
Betty Onopa: You know I always love your photos of Amanda. I was disapointed not to see them at the banquet. Could you email me some and I can order them. Can I get a deal like last year??
What will you find when you travel to White Cloud, Michigan then drive out to an even smaller area know as Jugville? A cool place called The Shack. There is nothing “shacklike” about this place and it is very quite and beautiful with an enormous grounds. It also had everything that Chris and Lisa were looking for on their wedding day. Of course I enjoyed the laid back nature which gave me plenty of time to capture them enjoying each other in all of these cool spots.

The rematch between the Wayland Wildcats and the Forest Hills Northern Huskies was on Tuesday night and it was another great match-up. Both teams are very aggressive and high energy for the entire game but this time the Huskies were able to move the ball well and in the end the break away baskets were too much for the Wildcats to keep-up with. It is going to be very exciting to follow both teams in the upcoming tournament. Click the picture or HERE to view the slideshow of images. The conditions on the roads were about as tough as the conditions at FHN on Tuesday night. With the playoffs coming-up it is probably some good timing for a tough match-up and tough conditions. No doubt how much effort goes into each and every game and fortunately for me it comes through nicely in my pictures. Click the picture or HERE to view the game slideshow.
Last night was a pivotal game in the Wayland Girls Season. They kept their significant improvements going and defeated a very good South Christian team. This game includes several of my favorite all time sports images including the one above. Check-out the images HERE. Thanks for the feedback on some of the previous slides.
Thursdays match-up between two Michigan state ranked teams lived up to all of the hype and then some. It was probably the coolest basketball game I’ve seen in a long time, if not ever. Many of you will know the results of the game before seeing this post but I’ll still let the SLIDESHOW tell the story for me. Two great teams played a hard fought game and was the type of game where you really hated to see someone go home with the loss. Good thing though is there will be a chance for redemption when they meet again in about a month. Better get there early because games like this don’t come around too often. The Wayland Girls have really turned the corner this season are playing quite well. Their recent efforts against Northview High and Forest Hills Northern go to show that when you have; a desire to win, non stop effort, and a great coach you can do great things. It has been enjoyable to watch the team improve and also capture a lot of the emotion and effort in the images HERE. It’s not too often that I hear back from my viewers so let me know how you like the shots. david@chandleradventure.com

I am covering the Wayland High School Girls Basketball Season again this year and got it all started on Thursday with a tough game against Byron Center. So far the season has been tough for the team but as you can see in this slideshow it’s certainly isn’t for a lack of effort from this athletic team. Check-out the slideshow HERE. Let me know what you think.
